2.22 Uranus in houses

“…I am what I am and what I am needs no excuses. I deal my own deck sometimes the ace sometimes the deuces…” “…and more much more than this I did it my way ….” “All for one and one for all!” “This is my life and I don’t give a damn for lost emotion…”

We all have Uranus in our charts and therefore we can all accept and direct this Uranian energy. Now that you have read some of the ways Uranus might be acting in the signs in your own and other’s charts you can locate those areas life that these energies are being played out Remember that often this will seem to be taking place in more than just one area of life. This will be the case where aspects are occurring. It will also be the case where Aquarius is in a different house to Uranus. And don’t forget that the circle is such that one point always affects its opposite house. If Uranus is your Ruling Planet or Scout Planet, or if it is a Midpoint between your Sun and Moon then its influence will be increased proportionately across different areas of your life. We are dealing with an outer planet here and therefore one more likely to drive you personally nuts as it collectively does its work for your generation.

Uranus in the 1st House

The first house is about self and this human planet here means that you will intuitively know yourself quite well even if you don’t believe you do. This will more than likely draw many partners into your life because of the 1st being opposite the 7th house.

Uranus in the 7th House

The first house is about self and opposite is the 7th of partnerships, partnerships personal and partnerships in business. Uranus in the 8th House

Uranus in the 8th house brings sudden flashes of intuition to the house of sex and death. The 8th house is also where a sacred marriage is consummated, where two individuals become a unit. Uranus in the 3rd House

Uranus in the 3rd house brings individual communication methods. The ability to speak your mind will be evident with this placement. Uranus here might be the Astrologer.

Uranus in the 4th House

Uranus in the 4th house might be the missing person around the family dinner table because the 4th house is the house of one of the parents and the house of home and hearth. Uranus here might represent someone who makes a living, a foundation, from mining Uranium.

Uranus in the 10th House

Again a parental house, Uranus in the 10th too can be the missing parent, or non-committal one who seems never to be there no matter how much they are loved. The 10th house is a very public house, the house of reputation. Uranus here can bring wonderful allies in the public sphere who come to your aid when you need it. There may be both good and bad things seemingly happening all at once where Uranus is involved and it is always about people! Uranus in the 10th can also bring the intuitive leaps straight into the top of your head so to speak and can be a little too much electricity at times. A magnetic leader is one with Uranus here proudly, fairly, freely public.

Uranus in the 5th House

In the 5th house love affairs with unusual people may happen more for you than for most others. Or an unusual hobby that you love will continue to give you much pleasure and energise you unbelievably. Uranus in the 5th may not necessarily bare children, or the child or children you do bear may have unusual gifts. A preference for group creative pursuits may paradoxically be the case with Uranus here but there will still be some staunch individuality with no-one being able to tell you how to play the game the way it should be played best.

Uranus in the 11th House

Uranus in the 11th house is very much at home. The house where it usually rules with Aquarius on the cusp. The 11th isn’t just about groups – it also concerns hopes and wishes, perhaps because of the intuitive leaps that are possible. Uranus here provides sudden wishes come true usually preceded by a gut intuitive feeling about their entry into your life, and, as usual, very often brought about by a person or persons.

Uranus in the 6th House

Uranus in the 6th can bring unusual employment. The 6th is also the house of health and if there are nervous conditions or impediments it may signify some of the lessons to be learned and gifts to be appreciated from this position. Being an outer planet it won’t be grasped with basic logic and intuitive leaps will be necessary but they will also be available to you, perhaps through the uncanny words of others just when you were thinking the same thing.

Uranus in the 12th House

Uranus in the 12th house will often slip over to the 1st and provide an intuitive ability with computers and/or crystals. Uranus illuminates the house it is in and in the house that is usually hidden this can be a wonderful fortune. However, it can also cause a modicum of fear to those who are caught unawares by their uncanny insight into things most people aren’t aware of. But don’t worry, there are many people besides yourself who are, they just don’t speak openly usually but times they are a-changing.
